Advising Pupils on the US College Admissions Process: A Webinar Series for School Staff with Higher Education and Careers Responsibilities

US Universities are increasingly of interest to girls from around the world, but their admission process differs greatly from that of other countries and can be hard to understand from a distance. Join us for this series designed to introduce you to the information and tools you need to help guide your US-bound applicants through the admission process. Our first session will provide an overview of the process and will be followed by three “deep-dive” sessions. This webinar series will be led by Amy Rogers, Dean of College Counseling at Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, Connecticut. She has been advising university-bound students for over 20 years and has served as the Chair of the Board for the Association of College Counsellors in Independent Schools, the leading professional association for US college and university guidance  amongst  many schools in the US, including ICGS schools.

The cost to participate is $250 USD for ICGS members working in independent schools, or $100 USD for ICGS members working in public/charter/state/tuition-free schools. Participants registering post 20 February for the three deep-dive sessions will receive a recording of Session 1 included in the registration costs. REGISTER HERE.

*Please Note: These sessions will be recorded, and the links shared with all who register.
