This is a five-year tenure Position of Responsibility appointment with an ongoing substantive teaching position at Seymour College. As the Head of Science, you will: - Lead the strategic direction and continuous improvement of the Science Department. - Drive excellence in curriculum design, assessment and contemporary pedagogical practice. - Use student achievement data to inform teaching and improve learning outcomes. - Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of educators. - Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and professional growth. - Support students through curriculum guidance, enrichment opportunities and pathways advice. - Work collaboratively with colleagues across the College to ensure a seamless learning journey for students.
