ICGS Student Leadership Symposium (England)

A leadership gathering for student leaders from girls’ schools across the UK

The ICGS Student Leadership Symposium brings together student leaders from girls’ schools across England for a day of inspiration, learning, and connection.

Designed for students who hold leadership roles within their school communities, the symposium creates space for young leaders to explore their leadership identity, reflect on the challenges they face, and develop the confidence to lead with purpose.

Through keynote conversations, interactive workshops, and discussions with peers, students gain insights into leadership, career pathways, and the skills needed to navigate the opportunities and responsibilities of leadership today.

What Students Experience

Participants engage in a dynamic programme that may include:

• keynote talks from leaders across fields such as media, business, healthcare, and public service
• workshops exploring leadership skills, university pathways, careers, and life skills
• opportunities to collaborate with student leaders from other girls’ schools
• conversations that encourage students to reflect on their leadership values and aspirations

Hosted by Girls’ Schools

Each year, the symposium is hosted by a girls’ school in England, creating an opportunity for students to experience another school community while building connections across the ICGS network.
